5	A template for an NFT business model. Video with instructions https://bit.ly/nftmodelvid It is a part of a "NFT PhD" series, a 10-episode series focusing on all aspects of creating an NFT collection. Check it out here. Thinking of launching an NFT collection? With this template you'll be able to assess the costs, build a revenue model and see the financial projections for each phase of the project: creation, minting, post-mint. I have included the defaults that are more or less an expected average or an estimation that falls withing the usual range. Your own numbers can vary a lot. For example, you may be the artist, or the smart code developer. Or you will assume 100% of the project manager's responsibilities. Then a big chunk of costs will be reduced. You also may not need all of the items, but I've listed them for the model to be as complete as possible, and to show you what kind of costs you might expect. The goal of this template is to give you a number. A number that will tell you if you should consider launching an NFT collection or not.

7	How to use it
8	1. Create a copy of the spreadsheet so that you can start editing it. Click "File > Make a copy" and save it to your Google Drive 2. Fill out the "Starting assumptions" table. 3. Based on your situation, what needs to be created, how much you can afford to pay, tweak the fields in yellow and observe how your total costs and revenue change. 4. The most important number is the one at the bottom: Net revenue after 3 months. If you have accounted for all the costs and estimated all the revenue (assuming minting out the collection), and this number is both greater than $0 and acceptable for you for 3-6 months of work, then an answer to "Should I launch an NFT collection" is "Maybe!". If the number is negative or not enough for 3-6 months of full-time effort, then the answer is "No!".
